Family of five contract swine flu

Tamiflu
Both the woman and the two-year-old boy are receiving anti-viral drugs

A family of five has been confirmed as having swine flu in Oxfordshire.

The two adults and three children were among 17 new cases of the virus confirmed across the UK on Sunday, bringing the total to 246.

The diagnosis was linked to the family's recent return from a tip to the US, a spokesman for Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust said.

It added all five were being treated with anti-viral drugs and were making a good recovery.

Close contacts of the family are also being monitored.
