Appeal after indecent exposure

A man wearing a long leather coat indecently exposed himself to four young girls.

Police have appealed for witnesses after he exposed himself to the girls near Tramway Industrial Estate in Banbury on Friday evening.

The man was described as white, around 6ft 5ins, slim and aged in his late thirties.

He had a thick, black beard and wore round thin-framed glasses. He had receding, swept-back black hair.

Pc Mike Welsh, investigating the incident, said: "When challenged, the man ran along the canal towpath towards Station Approach caravan site. He was then seen running towards the train station car park.

"I appeal to anyone who has seen a man of this description, or been approached in this way, to please contact police immediately."
