Rewind festival tickets on sale

Carol Decker from T'Pau hopes it will be a chance to relive the "old days"

Tickets have gone on sale for major new music festival in Oxfordshire.

The 80s Rewind Festival in Henley-on-Thames will feature hit artists from the decade including Kim Wilde, Billy Ocean, Rick Astley, and T'Pau.

About 20,000 people are expected in the town from the 21-23 of August for the event that is being billed as a "boutique camping festival".

Carol Decker from T'Pau said she is "very excited" about performing again and is hoping for big crowds.

She said it was nice to have a reprieve as her music career ended quite suddenly.

"It did end quite abruptly. In 1986 we released our first album and by '91 it was all over - although compared to kids on the X-factor it was quite a long career.

"Collectively, we pull a really big crowd so it should feel like the old days."
