Police launch seat belt campaign

Drivers not wearing seat belts have been targeted in a police road safety campaign in Oxfordshire.

Officers carrying out roadside checks in Marston on Wednesday stopped 21 motorists who were not wearing their seat belts.

Ten others were pulled over for using phones while driving and 12 vehicles were stopped for not being roadworthy.

Mark Pilling, from Thames Valley Police, said people should belt up automatically when they get into a car.
