Pair charged with armed robbery

A man and a woman have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a post office in Oxfordshire.

A masked gunman went into the post office in Stanton Harcourt on Friday morning and threatened staff before stealing money and cigarettes.

A 29-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, both from Witney, have been charged with robbery and possession of a firearm with intent.

The pair are due to appear before magistrates in Banbury later.
