Two arrested over hanging death

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was found hanging outside a house.

Police were called to the property in Clive Road, Cowley, in east Oxford, on Sunday night.

The 34-year-old victim was taken to hospital where he later died. The house has been cordoned off to allow a forensic examination of the area.

Two men, aged 30 and 35, both from Cowley, are being questioned on suspicion of murder.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place later on Monday.

Det Ch Insp Joe Kidman, said: "The circumstances of the man's death are unclear and I am interested in hearing from anyone who may have information about the events in Clive Road."
