Police are looking for a burglar who stole £200 from a pensioner's bedroom after tricking his way inside.
A man entered a sheltered housing complex in Chipping Norton by pretending he was an electrician.
The 60-year-old victim was left waiting in the communal area while the thief stole the money.
The burglar is described as white, aged 20 to 30 and around 5ft 7in tall. He was wearing a dark blue anorak, jeans, white trainers and black gloves.
Sgt Craig Kirby said: "This burglary is a good example of how residents should make sure workers who call at your home are who they say they are.
"Always check the identification of any tradesman or unknown caller at your home."
