'Gambling man argued over money'

Enayit Khaliliwas stabbed on his doorstep

A man who was stabbed to death on his doorstep was seen at a betting shop arguing over money, Oxford Crown Court has heard.

Enayit Khalili, 31, was attacked when he answered the door to his home in Fiennes Road, Rose Hill, in March 2007.

Martin Joyce, from Bradford, Yorkshire, is accused of the murder.

But Adnam Chahim, who worked at Ladbrokes, told jurors he had seen Mr Khalili arguing with an Asian man who did not match Mr Joyce's description.

Mr Chahim also told the court Mr Khalili told him that if anything happened to him, this man was to blame.

The trial continues.
