Tribute to teenage crash victim

A tribute has been paid to a teenage girl who died in a road crash in Oxfordshire.

Charlotte Hill , 13, died after the car she was travelling in was in collision with another vehicle near Oxford on the A34 at Gosford, Kidlington, on Monday.

Gosford Hill School, where Charlotte was a pupil, has held special assemblies and also offered support services to her friends.

A school spokesman said she would be sadly missed.

Charlotte sustained serious injures and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, but died later.

Police are keen to speak to two men who stopped to help after the crash, which took place at about 1900 GMT on Monday.

A driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
