Doorstep death jury is sworn in

The jury has been sworn in in the trial of a 22-year-old charged with the murder of a man in Oxford last year.

Enayit Khalili, 31, died in hospital from a single stab wound after answering the door to his house in Fiennes Road, Rose Hill, on 24 March.

Martin Joyce, 22, from Larch Hill in Bradford, Yorkshire, denies murdering Mr Khalili. The case, at Oxford Crown Court is expected to last three weeks.

Mr Khalili had come to the UK from Afghanistan in 2001.

He was an asylum seeker, but was later granted indefinite leave to stay in the country.
