Thames Valley Police are asking for the public's opinions on new uniforms planned for officers.

The force said it was a more practical outfit and consisted of more casual combat-style trousers, black shirts and baseball caps.

The uniform is being tried out in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire for the next three months.

There will be road shows in Banbury and Oxford over the next month where the public will be asked for their views.
