Ballot over postal strike action

Postal workers in Oxford have voted to hold a ballot to decide if they should strike over working hours.

Members of the Communication Workers Union (CWU) at two Royal Mail offices in the city met at lunchtime.

The delivery staff claim their workload has increased massively because of cuts in the number of workers.

But Royal Mail has said changing duties to match workloads over the summer was included in a national agreement after strikes last year.
