Driver dies when lorry overturns

A lorry driver has died when his vehicle collided with a crash barrier and overturned in Oxfordshire.

Police had to close the northbound carriageway of the A34 at the roundabout with the M40 in Wendlebury, near Bicester.

The articulated lorry crashed at about 0530 BST on Sunday. The 62-year-old driver died from his injuries.

Police appealed for witnesses and said the vehicle has a white cab with "Globetrotter" written on the side.
