Residents in Oxford have been warned about discarding refuse

People are being warned about the dangers of discarding litter after a cat got his head stuck in a tin can.
The brown long-haired cat was found in a garden on Toot Butts Hill in Headington, Oxford last Wednesday.
His head became stuck-fast in a cat food tin and the RSPCA were alerted by local trading standards officers.
Animal collection officer Dennis Lovell, who freed the cat so he escaped unhurt, said: "Litter can quite easily injure or kill animals."
He added: "This cat wasn't going to let the risk of getting stuck keep him from food.
"Luckily, the can had no rough edges and he made a clean getaway.
"Please recycle cans or pinch them together and make sure they are safely in your dustbin."
