Woman dies at scene of collision
A car driver has been arrested after a pedestrian was killed in a road crash in Oxfordshire.

The crash happened on Thursday afternoon on the slip road of the A40 heading towards High Cogges, Witney.

The female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a black Honda CRV.

The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Thames Valley Police have appealed for witnesses.
