Tests after care home burns death
Home in Owens Way in Cowley
Two members of staff have been suspended over the incident
A post-mortem examination is being carried out on the body of a teenager who died in hospital after suffering burns at a care home.

Eighteen-year-old Yelena Hassleberg Langley had been admitted to hospital on Monday after she was burnt at the home in Oxford.

Two members of staff have been suspended from the residential premises in Owens Way, Cowley.

The Health and Safety Executive and Thames Valley Police are investigating.

Nick Welch, of Oxfordshire County Council, said: "We are deeply shocked by the news of Yelena's death.

"Yelena was a young woman with profound disabilities whom we had recently placed with an independent provider, called Lifeways, at Owens Way, Oxford."
