Teddy bears given church blessing

Oxfordshire teddy bears have been given a Christian blessing at an unusual Church of England service.

Teddy bears were the guests of honour at the service at St James Anglican Church in Ramsden, Oxfordshire.

Villagers brought their bears along to the service at the High Street church on Monday morning.

"The service was a way to celebrate the gift of imagination and affirm that part of us that delights in giving and receiving love," a spokesman said.
