Officers deny driver death charge
Three police officers have pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of a 26-year-old motorist.

Pcs Robin Shane, 31, Paul Summerville, 25, and John Shatford, 32, all from Thames Valley Police, denied the unlawful killing of Robin Goodenough.

They also denied assault causing actual bodily harm when they appeared before an Old Bailey judge at the High Court.

The charges relate to an incident in September 2003 when Mr Goodenough, of Barton, Oxford, was stopped by police.

He later died from heart failure.

The officers were remanded on bail to face trial on 4 October.
