Brothers jailed for 'horror' rape

Two brothers who kidnapped and raped a 17-year-old girl 10 years ago in an "horrific attack" have been jailed for 10 years each.

Lee and Stephen Ainsby, aged 32 and 34, from Croughton, Northamptonshire, abducted the teenager just yards from her home in Banbury in Oxfordshire.

Det Ch Insp Robert Mason said advances in technology had enabled police to catch the pair.

He thanked the victim and her family for their "strength and courage".

"This was a horrific attack and Thames Valley Police is pleased that advances in technology have helped us catch the men responsible," he added.

"This case demonstrates how police will continue to investigate cases however long this may take to bring offenders to justice."
