Oxfordshire health bosses are to meet some of their counterparts to discuss an effective response to a flu pandemic on Monday.
Emergency planners will join colleagues from Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes at Aston Clinton in Buckinghamshire.
The move is part of ongoing training for agencies involved should a pandemic occur, a county council spokesman said.
But he was keen to stress that "no pandemic is imminent", according to The World Health Organisation.
"This is normal training for us and we are using this day to ensure that all of our plans reflect our joint needs," the spokesman explained.
"For us a pandemic will be all about making sure business can continue to run, particularly those that provide critical services.
"We may also have to provide support to our NHS colleagues for vaccination centres or other accommodation and we will explore these requirements during the exercise."
