Tourists are flocking to Oxford thanks to its association with films and books such as Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings, according to a new survey.
Fans of authors such as CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien and Philip Pullman have made it one of the UK's top tourist locations, the Classic Locations study found.
The new Harry Potter film uses Oxford locations such as Christ Church College and the Bodleian Library.
And a follow up to Morse is expected to renew interest in the Oxford detective.

The post-Morse one-off TV special called Lewis stars Kevin Whateley and was filmed in the city.
Nearly 60% of the tourists surveyed cited history and culture as their main reasons for embarking on a UK break.
Of the 1,124 surveyed 37% said they intended to visit Oxford in the next 12 months.
