Country fair's traffic standstill
Blenheim Palace
This year's event is taking place at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire
Traffic was brought to a standstill at the weekend as thousands of people queued to enter one of the country's biggest countryside events.

The Country Land & Business Association (CLA) Game Fair features over 950 exhibitors, covering country sports, gardening and cookery over three days.

The event was being held at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire.

The A44 towards Woodstock and the A40 Northern ring road towards Cutteslowe roundabout were backed-up with traffic.

Police had to appeal to drivers to be patient as they waited to get into the fair.

Up to 50,000 visitors are thought to have attended the event on Saturday.
