Courtroom for rent at US air base
The courtroom was used by the US air force for courts martial
Businesses looking for a unique office space are being offered the chance to rent a courtroom complete with witness box, judge's bench and public gallery.

The rare building is an old military courtroom on an ex-US air force base - Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire.

It was used for courts martial at the heavy bomber base until it finally closed in September 1994.

The 600 sq ft space is available for a six-month tenancy at a rent of 1,095 per month.

The high bench where the judge presided over the court, the public gallery and seating for the jury are still in place.

Keith Watson, of the building's owners, the North Oxfordshire Consortium said: "This certainly makes a novel office and is ideal for a start-up or small business.

"It provides a good talking point for potential clients and visitors to any business."
