Search for escaped prisoner
Kenneth Wilson
People are being warned that Kenneth Wilson can be violent
A major police search is under way in Oxford for an escaped prisoner.

Kenneth Wilson was receiving treatment at the John Radcliffe hospital when he went missing.

The 38-year-old was serving an 18-year sentence for robbery at Grendon Underwood jail, near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.

People are being urged not to approach Wilson as the police say he can be violent.

Police officers have been searching bus and train stations in the city, and the police helicopter is being used in the operation.

Wilson is described as white, around 5 t 8 in and was wearing prison clothes - navy blue long sleeve T-shirt, pale blue jeans and white trainers.
