Man in hospital after stab attack in Nottingham

A 20-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed in the back in Nottingham.

The victim was attacked on Lavender Walk in St Ann's in the early hours of Saturday.

He suffered a punctured lung and was taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre.

Police said he was in a stable condition and his injuries were not thought to be life threatening. They have appealed for witnesses.
