John Grocock said several visits by officials had not solved the problem
An 84-year-old Nottingham man has said he is still waiting for his council flat to be properly repaired after waste water leaked into his kitchen.
At the beginning of September John Grocock, who has cancer, found the water was seeping into his kitchen from a flat above.
He said the leak took three weeks to fix and attempts to replace damaged walling and electrics had failed.
Nottingham City Homes apologised and said work would be completed shortly.
Mr Grocock, from Clifton, said the leak damaged his cooker and stained the wall.
I just feel he has not been treated like a human being

"I had to come in every morning and mop up the water and try and clear up the mess because I had tiles off the wall.
"And it smells terrible. I don't know exactly what was in the water but it smells really bad and it makes it really hard to use the kitchen.
His daughter, Susan Carvin, is angry over the service he has been given.
"We have had inspectors out and then workmen, and they have done little jobs which have not solved the problem. The last inspector here agreed that the work done was not up to standard.
"I just feel he has not been treated like a human being, when you see the state they have left him in."
In a statement, Nottingham City Homes said: "We have been out to visit Mr Cavin today and will start work tomorrow to make all the repairs needed. We have apologised to him for the problems he has experienced and will do our best to rectify them as quickly as possible.
"The original job was not done initially to the best standard and we are investigating why it has taken this length of time for this remaining issue to be resolved."
