Appeal after man, 30, shot in leg

A 30-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the leg in Nottingham.

Officers were called to Snead Court in Rise Park after reports that a man had been shot with a firearm on Thursday night.

The man suffered a wound to his right leg and was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with further information on the incident to come forward.
