Drugs taken from dentist practice

A safe containing drugs and hundreds of prescriptions has been stolen from a Nottingham dentist practice.

Thieves broke into the Grangewood Dental Practice in Wollaton at about 0630 GMT on Monday.

The stolen safe and most of the drugs were found hours later in an allotment near Willow Hill Close in Bulwell.

But 13 vials of the sedative Midazolam and 300 prescriptions are still missing. Chemists have been told to block the prescriptions.

Police are warning the drugs are potentially harmful.

It is thought two burglars carried out the raid and fled in a silver hatchback car.
