Remembrance Day marked in cities

Thousands of people have attended parades across the East Midlands to mark Remembrance Day.

Services were held at St Mary's Church on High Pavement in Nottingham and at Victoria Embankment.

In Leicester a service was held at Victoria Park where council officials had prepared for a large gathering.

The city of Derby held a service in Market Place to mark the silence while a solemn service was held at Lincoln Cathedral.
