Arrests over police pursuit crash

Three people have been arrested after a car crashed into a wall while it was being followed by police.

The accident happened near All Hallows Church on Arnold Lane in Gedling, Nottingham, in the early hours.

A 20-year-old man remains in hospital while two others, aged 19 and 15, have been allowed home.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and failing to stop. The Independent Police Complaints Commission has been informed.

Arnold Lane was shut for several hours, disrupting rush-hour traffic and bus services.
