Man's body is found by rail line

The death of a man found by a railway line in Nottinghamshire is being investigated by police.

Officers went to the Attenborough Lane area after the driver of a London to Leeds train reported hitting an object on Monday evening.

They found a man in his 20s dead on the track and detectives said they were treating it as an unexplained death.

British Transport Police are asking for anyone who has information on what happened to come forward.
