Two houses damaged by roof fire

The cause of a blaze that damaged two houses in Nottinghamshire is being investigated by the fire service.

Twenty fire fighters were called to the incident on Farfield Avenue in the Beeston area of Nottingham late on Sunday evening.

Crews using breathing equipment and a high ladder dealt with the fire, which is believed to have started in the roof space of the two properties.

No-one was hurt in the incident, but inquires are set to continue.
