Fatal A1 crash claims third life

A third person has died following a crash on the A1 in Nottinghamshire.

A people carrier left the carriageway between Ranby and Blyth and hit a tree on Friday morning.

Two men, the 41-year-old driver and a 25-year-old front-seat passenger, died at the scene. A third man, aged 47, died on Friday night.

Two boys, a 10-year-old and a 13-year-old, who were passengers in the car, remain in hospital but their condition is not known.
