A man charged with murdering a 16-year-old schoolgirl 25 years ago has appeared at Nottingham Crown Court.

Paul Stewart Hutchinson, 51, of Stockgill Close in Gamston, will appear again to enter a plea in October and is due to go on trial in January.

The body of Colette Aram was found in a field near her Keyworth home the day after she disappeared in October 1983.

Her disappearance was the first ever case to be featured on the BBC's Crimewatch programme.
