Teenage boys quizzed over killing

A murder inquiry has been started after the body of a man was found on a Nottinghamshire road.

James Sheppard, 54, was found on Sutton Road in the Stockwell Gate area of Mansfield on Friday night.

Detectives have arrested four 15-year-old boys and are questioning them about Mr Sheppard's death.

A post-mortem examination showed Mr Sheppard had died as a result of head injuries. He was found close to Mansfield Community Hospital.
