Man admits guilt over crash death

Martyn Crew has admitted causing Natasha Jackson's death

A man has pleaded guilty to causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving after a crash in Nottinghamshire on Christmas Day 2008.

Martyn Crew, 52, from San Francisco in the US, appeared before Nottingham Crown Court.

Natasha Jackson, 21, from Groby near Leicester, died in the head-on collision on the A46 near Kinoulton.

Crew, who will be sentenced at a later date, is the first in Nottinghamshire to be prosecuted under the new charge.

The judge wants to know if Crew fell asleep at the wheel
