Reward offered over perfume haul

A £6,000 reward is being offered to try to catch thieves who stole perfume and aftershave worth about £160,000 from a lorry.

The vehicle was parked on the northbound carriageway of the A1 in Nottinghamshire, near Blyth, when the goods were taken.

Thieves slashed the lorry sides while the driver was asleep on 22 April.

Bibby Distribution has offered the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.

The brands stolen included Davidoff Cool Water, Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely and Calvin Klein Eternity.

Police have asked anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour near the lorry, which was blue and white with Chip Logistics written on the side, to contact them.

Officers also urged anyone who was suspicious of anyone selling those brands of perfume and aftershave to contact them.
