Man dies during fire at bungalow

A man has died in a fire at a bungalow in a Nottinghamshire village.

Fire crews were called to the property in Aldene Way, in Woodborough, at about 0900 BST.

Firefighters dragged the man out of the property but he died at scene. His family have been informed but his identity has not yet been released.

Officials were still investigating the cause of the fire. The scene has been cordoned off while the building is made safe.
