Five bailed after house stabbing

Five people arrested in connection with the death of a 17-year-old man who was stabbed at a house in Nottingham have been released on police bail.

Police, who are now treating the incident as murder, were called to Heathfield Road, Basford, on Friday after reports of a disturbance.

Tyler Juett was found injured at the property and taken to the Queen's Medical Centre where he later died.

One man, 22 and four male youths have been released on bail.

Another man in his 20s was arrested and has been released without charge.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said the six people were released on bail pending further inquiries and would return to a police station at a later date.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Saturday revealed Tyler, from the Aspley area, died from a stab wound.

It is now being reported that a 14-year-old school boy was also stabbed at the property.

Door-to-door inquiries were being carried out and officers were examining CCTV footage.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said police were keeping an open mind about events leading up to Mr Juett's death but confirmed burglary was one line of investigation.
