Woman injured in stabbing attack

A 30-year-old man is to be questioned by police in connection with a stabbing in Nottingham.

Officers were called to a house on Highbury Road in Bulwell at about 2100 GMT on Saturday.

A 39-year-old woman was taken to Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre with non life-threatening injuries and is now in a stable condition.

The house in question has been cordoned off while forensic examinations are carried out.
