Body is confirmed as missing man

Richard Legge
Police say the cause of Richard Legge's death has not yet been established

A body found in woods has been identified as a Nottingham man who went missing on Boxing Day.

Richard Legge, 41, disappeared from his home in Birchover Road, Bilborough, and his partner's painkillers were missing.

The body was found in a wooded area close to Main Road in Strelley at about midday on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination has been carried out but further test results are needed to establish the cause of death, police said.
