Man dies in two-vehicle collision

A driver has been killed in a road accident in Nottinghamshire.

Rowland Jeffrey, 29, from Markham Road in Langold, died when his car collided with a bus on the A60 between Oldcotes and Tickhill on Tuesday afternoon.

He was taken to Bassetlaw District General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The bus driver was treated for shock in hospital.

The road was closed for nearly seven hours for crash investigators to examine the scene.

Nottinghamshire Police has appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
