Armed robbers steal cash from pub

Three armed men have stolen cash from a Nottingham pub after threatening staff with a gun.

The men went into the Five Ways on Edwards Lane in Sherwood at about 0045 GMT on Sunday and threatened staff with a small, black handgun.

Cash was handed over and although no one was injured in the robbery, members of staff were left shaken, police said.

Det Con Andrea Baxter urged anyone with information about the robbery to contact police.

"In an effort to track these offenders I would ask any revellers or motorists who were in or around the Five Ways in the early hours of Sunday to cast their minds back and see if they can remember anyone acting suspiciously," said Det Con Baxter.
