Shoppers will get crime prevention advice at a special One Stop Shop in Nottingham as part of a week of action.
Police and city officials are starting the Respect for Nottingham week to tackle anti-social behaviour in the city centre.
There will also be high-visibility patrols on the street as part of a separate anti-street crime campaign.
The One Stop Shop at Westfield Broadmarsh Shopping Centre will also include advice on housing and welfare.
The campaign is organised by Nottingham Crime and Drugs Partnership and runs until 8 December.
It will also include information about Operation Centurion, which is bidding to reduce street crime in the city centre.
Anti-graffiti teams will also be travelling around the city and an information trailer will be set up in the city centre for members of the public to report graffiti so it can be removed.
