Brick thrown at a football coach

Police are investigating an attack on a coach carrying Barnsley football fans in Nottingham.

A brick or stone was thrown at the first of two coaches travelling through the Meadows towards Nottingham Forest's ground at around 1430 GMT on Saturday.

The missile was thrown at the back window, smashing the glass, but nobody was injured, police said.

Police have appealed to witnesses to the incident which happened at Great Northern Close in the Meadows.
