Man's body discovered in property

The body of a man has been found in a flat in Nottingham.

Police officers were called to North Sherwood Street at about 1815 BST on Friday where they discovered the body in the property.

A small section of the road at the bottom of North Sherwood Street was cordoned off, but police said it would not affect traffic.

Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's death, a spokesman said.
