Managers at East Midlands Trains have reassured passengers that normal Sunday services will be running after three weeks of disruption.
Timetables had to be amended for three weekends after some drivers failed to make themselves available for work.
Managing director Tim Shoveller apologised to all passengers who were "inconvenienced as a result of the revised timetable".
Routes between Nottingham and Skegness had been affected by the changes.
Journeys between Liverpool and Norwich via Nottingham also faced delays.
East Midlands Trains depends on train drivers volunteering to work overtime to operate the Sunday service.
Mr Shoveller added: "We're pleased that due to a significantly increased number of drivers making themselves available to work this Sunday, we have plans in place to run a full service."
It is believed the staff who did not turn up for work were protesting against the dismissal of a colleague.
