Car crashes into motorbike shop

About eight bikes were damaged during the incident

A sports car has crashed into the front of a motorcycle shop in a Nottinghamshire town.

The accident happened at DC Motorcycles the corner of Annesley Road and Montague Street in Hucknall.

Police said no-one was injured during the crash, which happened just before 1600 BST, but about eight motorbikes were damaged.

Eyewitness Graham Whalley said: "It has gone straight through and is actually embedded in the showroom now."

He added: "I think luckily it was Wednesday half-day closing so it hasn't damaged staff."
