Man, 81, arrested over body find

An 81-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a woman, 77, was found at an address in north Nottinghamshire.

The woman's body was discovered at a property on Langwith Lodge Drive in Nether Langwith last Wednesday.

The arrested man has been released on police bail until 23 June.

Det Ch Insp Kate Meynell said: "We are not looking for anyone else. I trust this provides some reassurance to the local community."
