Trams in Nottingham have been disrupted after a car got stranded on the tracks.

The incident happened on Monday night when the vehicle went onto a tram-only flyover between the Broadmarsh shopping centre and the train station terminus.

No-one was injured but there were delays as the vehicle was removed from the accident scene.

Nottingham Express Transit said it was now looking at a number of measures to stop it happening again - including altering the signs in the area.
